.iPhone 5 release date: August debut rumors and concept pictures for new iPhone

The iPhone 5 release date remains unknown, but new concept design photos have emerged on an e-commerce site in China. The photos are apparently being used to set up pre-order sales. Apple has not confirmed the already popular gadget, but many consumers and analysts expected the device to debut in September or October of this year.

New rumors about the iPhone 5 release date suggests the 6th generation Apple smartphone might make an appearance a bit earlier. Sources say Apple may be planning to unveil the iPhone 5 during a August 7th event. If this is true, consumers may have their hands on the new handheld by mid to late August.

An article at Space Lab says "so much talk of liquid metal" is understandable since the new concept design photos reveal what appears to be an "aluminum case." However, the photos popping up at these online merchants are all concept design photos. All of which are more than likely user submitted. This means they did not come from Apple, and are highly unreliable.
